CJ Global Technology Pty Ltd Announces Updates Regarding HemaX Digital and Associated Technologies
CJ Global Technology Pty Ltd (CJ Global Tech), the leading developer and maintainer of technologies
for HemaX Digital Pty Ltd (HemaX), wishes to announce several updates regarding recent service
outages affecting cloud synchronization, user data backups, product updates, and licensing
functionalities for the following products and applications:
- HX2;
- HX2+;
- Aerpro AMHXD3;
- 4x4 Explorer Application (Android and iOS); and
- HXD-N.
Presently, users of one or all of the above products and applications, are being prompted with a
licensing notification due to the cloud services being offline. When prompted by the application or
device, users who receive licensing notifications should select "continue" whilst maintaining an
internet connection. These notifications will cease when cloud services are restored.
Whilst we are presently unable to advise when cloud services will be restored, users who are using the
latest software versions will experience a much smoother transition once the restoration has taken
effect. Those who have wound back devices to earlier software versions may be forced to carry out a
complete reset of their devices which could result in permanent data loss.
Warnings Against Unauthorized Modifications
CJ Global Tech is aware of attempts to bypass notifications, roll back updates, and/or modify HemaX
devices. Please be advised that such actions may result in:
- Breaches of the end-user licence agreement;
- Invalidated data;
- Corrupted licensing and storage files; and
- Compromised device functionality.
Users are strongly advised against carrying out any such modifications and all users should uninstall
any unapproved or modified software. Operating on the latest released version of the software
ensures optimal functionality and stability when cloud services are restored.
CJ Global Tech’s Recommendations for Users
To ensure optimal performance and data integrity of your HemaX device, CJ Global Tech recommends
all users to:
- Maintain the latest software updates for compatibility and functionality;
- Uninstall any software not provided by HemaX and remove any third-party intellectual property; and
- Direct any software-related questions to CJ Global Tech.
Software Updates and Platform Stability
Prior to the service interruption, CJ Global Tech deployed crucial software updates to the HemaX
platform. These enhancements were designed to rectify reported issues and bolster functionality, with
updates released on a near-monthly basis.
Contrary to several unauthorised reports, over 67% of users have successfully transitioned to the most
recent software versions. Furthermore, over 88% of application users are operating seamlessly on the
latest versions without complications.
Clarification of Misinformation Regarding Service Outages and Platform Functionalityy
CJ Global Tech wishes to address unauthorised and erroneous public statements that have caused
confusion among users of devices and applications within the HemaX platform. The statements that
have been published online did not originate from our communications team. CJ Global Tech was not
consulted about those statements before they were published. Unfortunately, the dissemination of
false and misleading information has had an adverse impact on a number of end-users.
For many years, HemaX has retained CJ Global Tech to develop, support, and maintain its platform
solutions. However, recent developments have affected the operational capabilities of HemaX and its
ability to provide continuity of service to end users. That is a matter beyond the control of CJ Global
Tech.
As the developer and maintainer of the HemaX platform, CJ Global Tech has been instrumental in
creating and supporting a range of solutions, including the HX2, HX-2+, AMHXD3, HXD-N, the 4x4
Explorer and CamperX applications, and Adventurer iOS/Android applications. These technologies are
the proprietary assets of HemaX Digital Pty Ltd, a company that is co-owned by the Derry Family Trust
and Hema Maps Pty Ltd (Hema Maps). As of 11 November 2024, Hema Maps’ licence to sell HemaX
technology came to an end.
We encourage end-users to ensure that they use HemaX products in accordance with the end-user
licence agreement and in accordance with any direction or advice issued by:
- HemaX as the owner of those products; and
-
CJ Global Tech as the creator, developer and maintainer of the technology via
hemax@cjglobatech.com.
Advice or directions issued by any other source should be treated with extreme caution. Prior to
actioning advice from any third party, please take steps to verify that advice with CJ Global Tech.
Relying upon unverified advice may result in reduced functionality and/or irreparable loss of data.
